Advanced Ataru I

I have heard many whispers amongst the student population that they are interested in learning the Ataru form. However, I have not seen many approach either myself or Master Mioni about this matter. Perhaps they are approaching the Battlemaster but that Barabel is about as aerodynamic as a Hutt in an underpowered repulsorlift.

This advanced, Jedi Knight and above only class, will seek to ensure you have what you need to give students the basic understanding of the form while increasing your own skills on it.

The class will begin with an activity called Crossing the River. The dojo features two entrances to the mat's floor. Attendees will be asked to line up at the mat entrance closest to the door and will be called, one at a time, to step onto the mat and meet with me. I will demonstrate a Lightsaber technique and it will be expected that the attendee can replicate it. If successful, they will be permitted to the other side. Once all students have made it across the "river," we will begin the class proper.

Failure to "cross the river" multiple times may result in being excused from the class, but we will meet privately for remedial training.

As the Battlemaster says, 'bring best.'

Focus of the class shifted, as only Master Mioni made it. Given her training in Ataru, it wouldn't have been a good use of her time.

Instead, we focused on combatting a form she has witnessed being employed by one of the former Jedi who now support The Third Estate.
