Greetings JEDI Community
Following recent community consultation at the ((Community Meeting)), the council has made a decision concerning the timeline adjustments designed to address character stagnation--especially among our older students and Initiates.
Effective immediately:
These changes aim to revitalise narrative growth, including the current Thanium Worlds arc, and support smoother character progression for existing students.

Following recent community consultation at the ((Community Meeting)), the council has made a decision concerning the timeline adjustments designed to address character stagnation--especially among our older students and Initiates.
Effective immediately:
- The current year 461 ABY will be extended to 31 December 2025, which will conclude on 461.153 ABY.
- Starting August 2025, all Holonet calendar entries and archive documentation will reflect the amended year. Though the changes won't be noticeable until 1 September 2025.
- Hopefuls and newly initiated characters may choose to age up to 3 years during this extension if desired.
- All other characters are strongly encouraged to age by only 1 year to maintain as much continuity as possible.
- Life Day 2025 will acknowledge New Year’s Eve in-character (IC), adding depth to seasonal RP.
- The Council is open to amending this change based on overall community feedback if it is later deemed unnecessary.
