Cloak Generator

Is it possible for the cloak item to have its cloak active state last longer than 20 seconds? Surely between the mod or even a server setting, is it possible to set it to last 60 seconds or so?

There isn't a setting for this at the moment, it's hardcoded in the game server. Cloak "fuel" starts at 100 and loses 1 point every 200ms, which makes it last 20 seconds; refuel rate is 1 point every 150ms, so full refuel takes 15 seconds. Same values for the jetpack (except it loses 2 points when you go up).
It could be made configurable with a server cvar, if there is support for it.

I would support this--the 20 seconds feels very short. A server cvar would be a great option so we can experiment with time frames (I would even go more than 60 seconds, maybe ...)

I say if its possible something along the lines of a minute and a half or perhaps 2 minutes, 20 seconds is...very short personally from a In rp stand point it makes the cloak generators feel like we charge them with low powercells

With that said, RP is the equation for all interactions. Even if we set it to max, let's provide the roleplay potential to give emotes and interactions based on what we're doing before the 20 second period exists. I'm a fast typer and even then, the opportunities I have to give a dialogue to what my character at the time is doing, is forced at 20 seconds.
