What materials are resistant to lightsabers?

I'm kinda really curious...like are there ships made out of it? What about hilts? Could we make one out of it?

This is a topic I am also interested in, as it may be very useful in the future, considering what we have gone up against lately, and I've heard stories. It would be important to be educated on these materials.
