[Complete] Survival in nature - food

  • Subject Requested:
Food gathering, preparation and keeping all respectful to nature
  • Public/Private Lesson:
Smaller settings work better for me
  • Availability:
Depends on date
  • Reason For Request:
Out of the four essentials for survival, I am still missing some more knowledge for food gathering.

How can one gather food when surviving in nature?
Are there any rules for disposal of leftovers when in wilderness?
What about some biology differences: my diet is way different to for example Vridd’s.
What about some tips for recipes when there is nothing to disposal but what we can gather ourselves?
Are there any general rules we can follow, considering the Galaxy is huge and full of many varying worlds?
  • Additional Information:
I personally already had introductory classes on how to start a fire, how to get water and on building of the shelter. That could help us get a little closer to the point right away.

If there was a lot to cower, I was thinking that perhaps it could be split into several classes? If so, then, I was going to request to focus during this on carnivorous diet more, as it is something more related to my own species, if it was possible.

Hello Sa-fira,

I can take over this topic if you would have me.

Let us convene in private as soon as you are able, is that fine?

This subject is also of interest to me, Master Rhuacca, though I understand I would need Fira's, Master N'jork's, and your own permission to join this lesson.

Hello master,

I appretiate your willingness to hold this class. I will be looking forward.

Thala, you are welcome to join. Doing these in small groups is far more entertaining and enriching then being alone.
That said, I just want to point out that I already had several classes in the “survival in nature” field. My worry is, I could take something as “common knowledge” where it might be confusing to you. If the masters don’t see that as something possibly in your way, then I will be very happy to have you along.

I will reach out to you both so we can work on some times that would have suited us.
