Commlink Emote

Post by Gabe Alkorda »

Greetings,

I've noticed that the commlink emote is only a few seconds long, and doesn't loop, like the consolecomm emote does. Would it be possible to make the comm emote loop as well. I use it often when I go afk for a minute or so, and I always have to use consolecomm to do so. This might just be me being picky, but I think it'd be nice to have.

If there's a way to differentiate between the manually invoked Emote and the actual chatmode/emote, then I'd be all for that.

I'd prefer for it not to loop when you're actually sending messages, but I agree that it would be nice to have the option to idle-loop it.

Ok, I'll change it so that the /emcomm emote stays indefinitely with the commlink near the mouth until you press crouch/jump/etc.

The "automatic" emote (played when using the /comm <target> <message> command) will stay the same (the commlink stays near the mouth for 1 second).
