Only those granted the rank of Knight or above are allowed the privilege of advanced saber stances including the Jar'Kai (Dual) and Saber Staff stances.

• No Padawan/Initiate should hold a saber of any kind rigged with the staff stance
• No Padawan/Initiate should hold a reverse grip Saber (another variant of staff)
• A Knight/Master is permitted to use such a weapon against their Padawan when teaching how to defend against such styles, but they are not permitted to lend that weapon to their (or any) student.
• Training in such styles is reserved as a privilege for Knights, who are welcome to consult any Knight or Master about the finer points of such styles.
