PMing multiple targets.

Code: Select all

/tell Joe/John/Jack Hello.
Would send "Hello." as a PM to Joe, John and Jack at the same time, without having to publicly sending OOC messages or having to put up an extra clan-chat or even PMing each of them one by one.

Useful in classes, for example.

There are no one called Joe, John or Jack on the server. I support this suggestion.

We often hang together, around 1400/1500est. They're so cool, they're my friends :D You're probably just not in the same timezone...

Code: Select all

/tell Joe/John/Jack Sounds like a good idea!
Handy for Masters to give out specific directions. Like arranging who is the Exchange in the Mafia game etc.

I'm actually surprised it wasn't already done. ;)

I'm not for it, clan chat provides group chat already. And it's longer to type 3 names for every sentence than typing a clan chat name once.

The issue with clan chats is, you can't leave them. And then every other player has to join the same clan chat. And what if you only wanted to talk to two of the people in the three man chat?

I guess Soh don't like his job. :)

Pm them with a new clanchat pass :?:

type / up and change the last thing you sent to tell <different> same message :?:

I don't see this as urgent enough to merit Soh re-writing a load of code.
