XP Notification

I was thinking today about the little "info items" that you get when you receive some XP, and how when you aren't on the server you don't get one the next time you come on.
For me, its kinda awkward, since suddenly in a new month I have an extra 25XP and it takes me a second to realize that its the monthly JK XP gain.
So, perhaps when you receive XP when you aren't logged in an info item will pop up next time you log into that account.
Sequential example:
- Gabe isn't logged into his account, nor on the server.
- Gabe receives 5XP for going on a mission, that XP is applied via the database rather than in the server.
- The next time Gabe logs into his account on the server he receives an info item informing him of the XP he's gained.

I'm not sure how it works for Knights and Masters because their journals are not viewable for me, but shouldn't any change in XP get recorded in their journal the same way as everyone else?

Knights + get a base xp gain of 25xp per month, usually at the last day of the month, it's kind of routine and expected.
As for being awarded xp while you aren't on the server, I always write in the students journal so they know where the xp has come from and I frequently write running totals in my padawan's journals.
If an info item can be implemented, sure, but that means another field to deal with when granting xp.
A Journal entry is permanent, an info item flashes once to the recipient.
I guess it's down to Soh, I think it's possible to implement a notification system like this by simply using journals (or indeed the post in knight discussion detailing who got what xp when).
Those that log on to the server first and get confused by xp gains can easily rectify their confusion upon browsing the forums.
