I just got a new computer and had the same problem. You need to right click on the application and go to properties and be sure to always run it as an administrator. For whatever reason, this fixes the problem.
Like I said, I had this EXACT same problem, so if my solution does not work for some reason, let me know and we can compare more specific configurations and what not. But running it as an administrator did work for me.

I don't really know what you mean. I got the same error message and running JKA as an administrator fixed the problem.Kael Sekura wrote:Uh say what? lolKishon Sanria wrote:I just got a new computer and had the same problem. Also, to prevent the need to run JA as an admin on vista if you have it installed in Program Files, boot up your computer in safe mode. Navigate to the "Program Files" Folder. Open the properties for LucasArts folder. Go to the security tab and edit the properties for your account and any others that may access it to have the box "Full Control" ticked. When this is all sorted restart your computer and voila. Ever since I did that, I've never seen the VM_CreateUI thing again.
