JEDI Comport

Hey everyone,
First off I'd like to apologize for being away for so long.
But here is my problem.
I downloaded everything i need to get on the server (Map, patch, vehicle, weapons, music.) So i start loading the map, and it takes about 5 - 10 minutes to get to the "Awaiting Snapshot" on the loading screen. When it gets there it won't go any further.
I'm all out of ideas.
Can anyone help?

I'd occasionally get that when my internet would cut out. What sort of net connection do you have?

This can also happen if you're very slow to load (more than 500 seconds = 8 mins 20 secs).

try lowering your graphics that worked for me

I have DSL, dont know all the crazy stuff about it. I do know it sucks lol.
But ill try the graphics, thanks all.

I had DSL as well, so it might be the same problem.

During "peak" hours my internet would basically shut off, often times in the middle of me playing on the server, which made it look like I crashed.
Other times it would only affect JKA. I would be able to use MSN just fine, and surf the internet.

And whenever I tried to restart my modem it just wouldn't be able to connect all the way (I think the DSL light wouldn't come on).

Approximately what local time are you trying to connect to the server?

well last i tried it was i think 12 noon EST

And I just turned down all my video options and it still wont really let me on. I let it load for about an hour yesterday and i couldnt get on. Im going to try reinstalling
