Basically the title sums it up. While sparring Master Loist last evening I was using protect and absorb (had just initiated both of them), when we entered into a saber lock, and instantly both powers were shut off. I don't know if this is supposed to happen or not, but it would sure seem to me that it's not supposed to happen haha.

Same occurs with Fury/Rage. May be with all passive powers as well.

I realized if you switch sabers (full to training) all force effects are negated. I was sensing and I switched sabers, and the power cut off.
