Tying Effects to Objects

I just thought of this...
It would be really cool if you could somehow tie effects to objects or entity numbers. I.E. /rpeffect add env/fire 382. 382 being the entity number of a crate npc. You could obviously also do it to multiple npcs, bound together using the same name. Then, whenever the npc moves, the effect moves with it, keeping the same origin. I have *no* idea if this is possible, but it would be REALLY sweet if it was. You could then not only have a burning building, but burning crates inside the building, or even burning people haha
