What do you think should be listed in the score menu?

I have spoken with Soh Raun about this and he agreed that the 'Level' and 'Time' part should be removed.

By what should those two sections be replaced then?

If there was a way to put some sort of status there "Meditating" "AFK" "Training" "Available" then I think that might be a suitable replacement.

I'm quite fine with the way it is. I'd still be open to new, good ideas however.

Time should be removed and replaced with something more useful, yes. I believe that level should stay. Perhaps the time field could be altered to show rank? This could be helpful for guests trying to find someone to help them.

Where I find the "Time" menu to not cause any harm, I wouldn't be upset if it were taken away.

The Level however, I think should remain as although it's not JEDI's focus it is there for quick referencing without having to Alt-Tab and wade through Student Journals just to find out.

I like changes, sure, but only if the change is for something constructive or needed. No point changing something just for the sake of changing it. Or changing it just because you can.


If anything, I agree with Sared that there could be a "status" for the times you quickly go AFK without wanting to vanish infront of people or leave the server. I've often found myself RPing with somebody who's not at their desk because I had no indication otherwise. The same has happened to others with me in the occassions I get distracted and need to go AFK quickly.

However I don't believe it should go beyond "AFK".
"Meditating" is just the same as AFK in my opinion.
Nor do I feel this should be used to express emotions like "Is Sad" or "Is Happy" like it was suggested in another thread.

I actually like the time section, but I agree that rank is very helpful too.

How about we change 'Time' to 'Class'? For example Consular (Green colour), Guardian (Blue colour), Sentinel (Yellow colour).

Class really isn't useful. I use my class purely for one aspect and RP my character as something different.

I'm honestly completely fine with the way it is. I don't like the notion of adding the "afk" bit to the menu, because in my eyes, if you're afk, you shouldn't be in-game, unless you're just afk for a few seconds while you alt-tab out. If you really must go afk for an extended period, go spec.

I agree time is for the most part pointless, but I don't think it should be changed, simply because I don't think there's anything better to take its place.

What about rank? That way new people can see at an instant what rank that particular person holds.

In my opinion 'Rank' is always more useful than 'Time'.

You can do that looking at the menu anyway - there's a reason we all use different-colour tags...

We already have the ::JEDI:: tags for that.

I'm also fine with leaving the scoreboard the way it is. Until we have something really useful to replace the time and level columns, I don't see any need in changing them.
