Knock down suggestion

Hello ::JEDI::
If you remember in Single Player, if you jumped on/landed on a NPC, the got knocked down. For the sake of realism, I suggest this be put in RPMod. There are not many people who could support the weight of someone jumping on top of them. I'd love to here people comments and thoughts.

I support fully.

My only worry is that it could be easily exploitable in combat. Otherwise, I support it barring two technicalities:

Kenta jumping on Ommar and vice-versa? Can the engine recognize different model weights/sizes to accommodate for that?

What if the first jump causes the stumble animation the player gets in base JA when they are overwhelmed by a lightsaber strike and the second jump, inflicted while the animation is still occuring, causes a total knockdown to the floor?

Again, good suggestion, but I'm still concerned with the above stated reason.

I had a suggestion awhile back about adding some sort skill set for our accounts like:

Strength
agility
speed
recovery ....ect...ect

If that could be implimented somehow, and the mod could recognize someones strength versus someones weight or age. (The skills would have to have a balance of course such as +1 strength/ -1 agility or +1 weight which would slow you down anyhow.) Just an idea, take it or leave it I guess lol.

I like the idea.

While we're all worried about the mass of characters, if I barrel into somebody with force speed going they should turn into a robed pancake with tire marks over them.

Were we not also able to knock someone down when you ran into them in SP?

I like the idea too.

I'm with Sared - this would be ridiculously exploited unto death. Bad enough that we have that issue with jump-kicks as it is. I don't think we need to add any further insanity to that which already exists ;)

I'm against this. Although it would add realism it would make gameplay less streamlined and (in my eyes) less fun. Perhaps adding it as a feature you can turn on to use in missions when trashing down on random thugs and the likes.

I'm with the others on this one. Although It would be a 'realistic' addition, you need to weigh up the pro's and con's between realism and practicality/fun. Here I think it would detract more from the game than it would improve.

I'd still say I'm on the fence though leaning more towards, 'Nice idea but no thanks'.

I'm in total agreement with most of the comments on this one.
I don't think it's something that should be implemented.

There are occasions where a player NEEDS to stand on top of another player. Like giving a shoulder-up to reach higher ledges for example.

The only way i'd be in support of this would be if Falling distance was taken into consideration.
For example, hopping onto a player won't do anything but falling from a great height that normally enduces pain and HP loss, the player at the bottom could get knocked over.

That's my only condition.

That aside, as the others have mentioned, It would be too exploitable and "cheap" in it's simple state.

I think that if Jump were a less common Force power then it would be a little more practical.
