/me Force

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a /me command, only for the Force. I often see people use the light blue colour for a Force action, like ::Focuses on the Force::, etc. So, could there be a command, like /force or whatever that automatically changes the colour like the /me command does? Thoughts?

If I remember correctly, we can only have a certain amount of chat commands. /me /comm /tell and soo on. I think there was a limit. Still, you never know. Not a bad suggestion IMO though.

While i do hate shedding a negative comment on this by saying that, personally i dont see it as being too necessary, i do however like the notion. /Support.

I don't think I ever made a thread, but I think I suggested this over messenger to an council member last year and got a response similar to azrael.

Meanwhile, at the same time you could say that /me isn't necessary and why don't we just do away with that? We may not *need* it but I really think it will make things simpler for a lot of us, especially if you're addicted to the ::cyan chat:: like I am :)

i think it would be could if the chat ranges could be applied based on what you were doing, like if you were trying to stay hidden you could do: /force <focusus> level 1 minimum or /force <Blasts> level 10 (10 meaning pretty much every Jedi at the temple could see (feel) it. Just a thought. Using numbers would be interesting because it gives the option for Jedi who are more advanced in their training to stay hidden (art of the small I suppose). Hope that made sense. All in all, I support Delmi's idea.

The notion of "actioning" things your character does in the Force, "::Focuses his Force energy::", never sat well with me.

Here's my impression.
If other Force-sensitives would be able to feel it-- for example some of the "Force actions" that Vector did during the story kick-off-- then it should be put into action bracketry. This would be mainly for things that would require other folks' reaction, such as a massive surge of Force energy, or a powerful feeling being projected (I know Corinth and Gabe used to ::Exude a calming presence::).
If it isn't something that others need to react to, there's no point in "actioning" it because really, they shouldn't feel it, or need to worry about feeling it.

::Focusus on the force:: Was just an example. The minimum would be for something other force sensitives would be able to feel a less seasoned Jedi doing something extravigant.

::EDIT:: Maximum**

Well, on that first note. I say it should only be used when doing things that can not be done with the in-game physics, or when people are learning new things or buffing you for example.

It's simple but I don't see how it would be bad to add in.

Wait - I'm not sure I understand this completely. Who uses cyan for Force actions? Actions are white by default. Cyan is reserved to be used for speech-based Force actions, such as telepathy and persuasion. Am I missing something?
