Health/Shield Changes

In light of some of the other suggestions posted today, I had a thought. Currently, Guardians will have more HP/SP, and Consulars will have more FP (assuming everything else is equal). With a species-based system, (barring any change to the current Force changes suggested in Dixo's post), the HP/SP/FP differences could still be implemented by investing XP into each area.
You would still gain X/Y/Z amount of each per level, but the focus of your training could be fleshed out more by investing into each of these areas.
Now obviously this would only work with certain limitations, such as:
-Not being able to invest any points into 'stat stats' until level ten.
-Not being able to progress past rank two or three in each until level fifteen.
-Once rank two is achieved in one (HP/SP - FP/Regen/Cost), you are unable to achieve rank two or higher in the other.
Essentially, this could remove the need for the KOTOR-style class system and make more room for a more varied system.
