Teams

Would it be possible to create something where it'd be possible to group people together in teams perse? So that in missions etc. when you use Team Heal or Team Energize you only effect the people within your team? That way you don't inadvertently heal or give fp to the person you're sparring against (in teams), trying to kill, w/e.

Ingame it could be something like this:

Doesn't TFFA game style do that already? Most of time on missions and there are opposing sides, the server's run at TFFA. Though I could see how it could be useful where that game mode shouldn't be used.

I think the suggestion is implying the ability to create/join/leave specific teams so as to enable more ability to use heal others/meld selectively within the context of FFA mode when it is not TFFA, so that it'd only effect those on your team.

Not sure, though.

I highly doubt it, but would it be possible to create/manage multiple teams in FFA mode? If not, what about doing the same in TFFA mode?

if you could get around the fact JKA only ever had Blue and Red, this idea would be extremely useful I think, for that reason alone.

I can't see its usefulness, but maybe it's because I have never had anything to do with heal others or team energize.
The only thing I'd suggest in TFFA is removing those annoying Rebel/Empire signs hovering over our heads.

It could be very useful, especially if NPCs could be assigned to a specific team as well, in order to work as allies for the same team members and enemies for other teams.

While this feature is available in tffa mode, having multiple teams could be a useful feature.

More than two teams would definitely add more dynamism to TFFA or any team-based events.

Even better if it could be applied to FFA as well.

I just thought.. wouldn't that also fix the problem with holograms attacking the wrong people?
