If you check the animations included, there is a "skipping" animation, just next to the running animations. For reference, look for BOTH_RUN4.

Curiously, this animation looks very much like the way small kids keep up with tall people. They do something really similar to that animation, which makes me think that adding it as a second walking speed would be interesting. Make it something between current walking and current running.

That way, small kids get to use their additional speed when keeping up, and they even get to look more kiddish with that animation, imo. I even did a modview test by putting Ruluk in one window, skipping, and Kyle in another window, walking. They looked really good together. ;)

I like it.

This might be a bit much, but I think it would be the ballz if you could toggle slightly different standing, running and walking animations. You know...diversify your portfolio so to speak?

Reality speaking, each model should have it's own walk animation, since everyone walks differently. But I'm with Atrux and his toggle idea. It would be "the ballz."

Agreed on the different walking animations. But I still contend that short legs can't walk (or more importantly considering the medium we are using) or run as fast as long ones.

I agree with Atrux.

And in my opinion unless the adult is deliberately trying to outrun the child they stay at a medium speed that both can follow.
