Combo Cost

After reading the above post I suddenly had an idea... it probably won't rally much support but I thought I'd put it out there just to see if anyone likes it.
The idea is that if more than one power is going to be used at a time, the cost for the additional power increases. For example, if jump normally costs 35FP for a full jump and speed costs 50, to use Jump while in speed would cost 50, or 70, or some amount greater than 35. Do this for every force (or perhaps have exceptions like Absorb + Neutral Forces) at a set amount (like 1.3 times normal FP for additional power).

Can't we just keep it normal? You can always do that with ::'s.

No offense but that is not a good reason in my opinions, yes you can do anything with ::'s but it would be more fun to not.

I understand the idea, and the logics behind it seem reasonable, so I'd partly support.
However, if done, the new system would have to be very specific in terms of spent force, since it could lead you to get empty on fp without using many powers.
If a system were to be made that works powers in this way, it could become more complex than needed for such a simple game in terms of combat.

When you jump, your FP is drained accordingly, and if you use push while jumping, your FP is drained even more because of both powers being used. Thus, this is already effectively in place. To increase the drain on FP wouldn't much much sense to me. I understand the logic, I'm simply stating that I feel this is already in place, just not to the degree that you're suggesting.

That is correct. I feel that the current cost is based on 'single and solo' usage rather than on 'combination' usage - thus I thought adding an increased degree for combinations would compensate.

The system is honestly fine the way it is, so I don't really see the point changing it.

Also, for lower levels, Force regeneration time is slower. I think it's fine the way it is. Doing anymore would make playing suck.
