No, weapons do not drop on death. You may be able to pick up weapons that a person drops, I'm not sure.

All in all this suggestion is completely on point. This also saves issues if the director has to merc the person just so they can rp picking up the stupid weapon.
Actually, yes, I believe it does. Chop up a player and you SHOULD get the weapon.
Player, yes. However the original poster's suggestion was to enable NPC weapon drops. A good suggestion.

It makes sense that when someone has a weapon and they die, the weapon is still fair game for those alive. From someone who has participated in numerous simulations recently, I think it would definitely help those of us with less abilities at our disposal hold our own against onslaughts of armed opponents.

As the afforementioned slaughterers of children were my vast hordes I have no objections to their obtaining of weapons though those they don't know how to use would be more or less useless in their hands, meaning younger students be stuck to e-11s and such.
