Is the RPmod folder in GAMEDATA and
NOT BASE? If it's in base that might be the problem.

do I need to put all of the PK3 skins and stuff in the rpmod folder now?

I doubt a skin is doing it, any chance of a screenshot of your base and RPmod folders, that may help us get to the bottom of this.

ok...I dont know how to take screen shots with this computer..
But I did give you all of the contents of my base and rpmod folders in a recent post
only things that changed is I added the Skins pack and switched
RPMod-Animations.pk3 and RPMod-Strings.pk3 to the Rpmod folder
I have the following in my base folder.
All of the skins in the ::JEDI:: skin pack

See if this does anything.
I used to need it for base / japlus, and still have it in my base.
99 Vehicles mod
This might fix it for you. drop it in base, if that doesn't work, put it in rpmod.

the steam version auto updates it is kinda like what happened in this thread
