Are you connecting to the server through something like Xfire? Because that always happened to me.

Just either start the server from an icon directed right to the server, or open JA, load the Mod, then put in the IP and connect that way.

You're not loading the mod when you connect to the server.

In Xfire, go to Tools > Options > Games > Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Multiplayer > Enter: +set fs_game rpmod in Advanced Options

I had the same problem with the old RPmod, when Soh released the new one, everything has been fixed for me. Maybe try to reinstall the mod ? ( If what they said don't work of course )

This is the correct answer, if using xfire. If not using xfire, use the rpmod shortcut. If your shortcut has disappeared, recreate it by creating a shortcut to the game and adding the modifier that Olim mentioned after the jamp.exe

I've seen this happen a few times on Temple myself. Still not sure what causes it. Not launching through Steam or Xfire or anything fancy, just the installed shortcut.

Sadly this attempt only made my JA crash, so then I tried Illrians version of just uploading the mod on normal Multiplayer that didn't work either, so I'm just thinking of creating the shortcut or reinstalling.

Or just don't open RPMod with xfire, solved.

There isn't any need to reinstall, at all. Just do as Rash said, or create a shortcut, piece of cake.

The cake is a lie.

And yes, that's the product of RPmod not loading properly. Nivek's icon will work... or you could just go under Setup > Mods > RPmod... let the game restart, then connect to the server manually.

Like I do... every... time...

It was Xfire itself, I had to re-install Xfire then it stoped Crashing.
