Note About New Forum Version

Post by Rian Vun »

Well, with the upgrade to phpbb v3 we see some great new streamlined looks, but also a few changes in how code is set now. For instance, when

Code: Select all

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
was written in the old forum style, it may have looked like this:

blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

However, now it looks like this:

---->blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah<----

So, those of you who have signatures with these settings in it might have to reformat the sizes in it.

Also, <center> is no longer the correct code for centering formats-now it is

Code: Select all

.

Feel free to post more changes/issues here.

For our newer initiates.

Would it be worth while adding a public thread to the forums for listing key changes, Soh?

I don't think this is necessary. Hopefuls who arrived after the migration to phpBB3 would have no use for a change list, since they didn't known the phpBB2 version. And for those who have been here a little longer, there isn't much more to know than what Rian just posted.

For JEDI Members, there is the thread you linked to, which I just edited to add the information about font sizes.
