Disney shut down LucasArts today, and cancelled Star Wars: 1313 and another in-development game.

Just read it myself and came to post. Unfortunate for those who worked for LucasArts however it may actually benefit games to license them to larger developers.

Azra nailed it. Lucasarts has had a declining track record over the years. Only re-releases.

A lot could happen! Soh will have to look at the code, but it's there for everyone! Download the binaries, get yourself a good way to look at code (like
Bloodshed), and get to digging! Picking apart a game that you're already familiar with is a great way to learn about programming and how the code interacts with what you see in-game!

Yeah, I mean I know they've been declining, but with the two games they were working on I was really looking forward to it, and now I won't get to, more than likely.
However the source codes does sound nice!

EDIT FOR ESTH: Probably not, the servers are all run by Mammoth (I believe? Are we still using them?) Or, they're totally privately hosted. Worse comes to worst, one of us has to set up a dedicated server ourselves, and we might probably have to advertise for membership. But LucasArts has no control over the servers whatsoever.

The master servers are run by ravensoft, not LucasArts, right?
Ravensoft is still in full swing.
