Several points here.... First, it's well-established that the "Dark" and "Light" sides are not actually sides of the *Force*, but rather, sides of the *user*. As such, it would be faulty to impose restrictions on certain abilities and not on other abilities because of a misconcei...

[WONTFIX] /emcomeon

I just discovered that if you use the /emcomeon emote, and move while doing it, your upper torso rotates 180 degrees and snaps back once the animation finishes playing. I'm guessing it's a bug and isn't supposed to do that? :P

Honestly, when you pause to consider that it's been several hours since you "left your character", it is quite plausible that they've moved since you last played them. What I mean is that when you stop RPing your character, your character doesn't cease to function. So, rather than breaking...

Oh, sure. I meant a server-side cvar, rather than a client-side one, heh.

I'm quite sure that a toggle-able cvar could be made to turn off the announcements. That much I'm a fan of. I'm also down with dropping the requirement of secondary characters keeping their real name in parentheses. However, the (NAME)'s are important in missions, as it makes organization and instru...

Force and stamina are so closely intertwined, it's perfectly realistic to use a single bar to represent the two within game physics. I hate it as much as the next guy, but I think it's realistic and imposes a nice limit on performing such moves. I also don't want to mess with the combat system in su...

I agree with Master Tholmai's proposal as well as Zeak's.

See this thread and this thread for similar proposals.

I don't remember any memorial, I know we had a section of the old site's "Knights" pages dedicated to the Lost Ten, and I know sometimes people would refer to the Vladarion Memorial in academy_v2 as a tribute to the Lost Ten, but I honestly have no idea. The Vladarion's memorial is actual...

Could always have it that when you go to melee and put away your lightsaber, you do the 360. Like the way you get double lightning when you use melee or when you turn your lightsaber off, I think. It's a good idea, but I'd still prefer the crouching trigger. If you're crouching, it seems as though ...

Basically, a new system would be cool, and perhaps even more realistic. However, if a new saber system were introduced, it would create a real mess out of things, because it would basically put everyone on the same field as far as skill goes, meaning we'd have Jedi Masters who have spent years and y...

I'm on the fence when it comes to these significant changes to the saber system. On the one hand, I think anything that offers us more control (particularly manual blocking) is both more realistic and, in my opinion, makes for a better experience overall. With the current BaseJKA system, I have a t...

Yeah, we're avoiding changing the combat system, so your proposal isn't really an option, I'd say.
