  We are given one sometimes before we can even read. We are tasked to create one to prove our growth, and we carry one for the majority of our lives. We know we shouldn't use it as a hammer against a wall, pry it open to produce sparks or as a poking tool to close barely out of touch switches (hopefully). But do we know how to take basic care of it?
  
  Many Jedi think that lightsaber maintenance should be either be entirely their responsibility, or entirely the artisans' responsibility. Both of those schools of thoughts are wrong, and we will also touch a little on this.
  
  On this class, we will go over maintenance of our hilt. Do not be afraid about your hilt, training inert hilts will be provided for safety and experimentation.
