It's always been an interest of mine to learn how to mentally connect with animals. It's something I tried to train myself as a padawan to do with no effect. Now that I've found I have more time for independent study in addition to my duties, I'd like to seek guidance to learn this skill.

I have empathic abilities already through my training in force healing.

Councilor Vaan,

This one is perhaps not the one you expected, but he would be willing to share his knowledge. This one only needs to understand if the councilor wishes to ultimately tame prey, or simply commune with it.

The two skills are linked, but not inherently. This one can be hunted through his comm, Master Vaan.

Mostly out of curiosity for how my former apprentice approaches this subject, I am willing to supervise the instruction. However, I admit I will be at a disadvantage in determining if he is teaching my fellow Councilor the correct way to approach this, having no expertise myself.

But, I have faith in my former Padawan and don't expect him to fall to the level of breaking a beast in with force in order to dominate them, as it were.

As such, I ratify this lesson on the condition I am capable of being there to observe.
