The Third Estate has issued a blanket warning to anyone traveling through the Xappyh sector. Unless you have Third Estate travel permits or credentials, ships will be fired upon under suspicion of piracy.

  • Observations during the operation indicate that Third Estate starfighters are generally of lower quality compared to standard military craft, and many of their pilots appear to have limited training or experience. Despite these shortcomings, their forces compensate through the use of large patrol groups and frequent fighter deployments, allowing them to maintain pressure through sheer numbers rather than individual capability.

  • During the escort operation to the planet Stic, Third Estate forces were confirmed to be maintaining a blockade using tractor-beam buoy arrays positioned along common orbital approach routes. These devices appear designed to capture or immobilize blockade runners attempting to enter or depart the planet’s orbit.
  • The convoy encountered resistance from Third Estate fighter patrols while approaching the system. Interceptor forces attempted to disrupt the escort and prevent the supply ships from reaching Stic.
  • Jedi escort fighters were required to engage enemy patrols and destroy blockade infrastructure in order to open a safe corridor for the humanitarian convoy. Once the obstruction was cleared, the convoy was able to proceed toward Stic to deliver the aid supplies.

Summary and Actions
An opinion offered by the reportee and their recommended actions.

In my opinion, the Third Estate presence in the Xappyh Sector appears to rely heavily on intimidation and numerical superiority rather than the quality of their vessels or pilots. Their standing orders to fire on unidentified ships without confirmation suggest they are attempting to exert rapid control over the sector and discourage outside assistance. While their fighters appear inferior individually, their numbers and the presence of heavier support vessels still represent a serious threat to civilian shipping and humanitarian aid.
The use of blockade measures around Stic, particularly tractor buoys designed to capture blockade runners, indicates that the Third Estate is attempting to tightly control planetary access and prevent outside support from reaching the population.

My recommendations are as follows...
  • Continue escorting humanitarian convoys into the sector to ensure civilians receive essential supplies.
  • Prioritize the rapid neutralization of blockade infrastructure, such as tractor buoys, in order to allow aid ships safe passage.
  • Gather additional intelligence on Third Estate fleet composition and command structure to better understand their operational capabilities and weaknesses.
