Ok, I remember a thread about species and their abilities and how they should be implemented. well i was wondering if this was going to be done because it sounds really cool. though it could leave people chosing a species they normally wouldn't just because of their abilities.
I think that species that are mentioned or are known to have special abilyties like this should be included, A.K.A. natulen should be able to breath under water, i'm a little blank on other species but also maybe some who are anturally resistant to ceratin force powers (AKA-mind trick) maybe it could be added to an account the ability to have that force power when used to not effect that person, maybe even have damage reductions depending on the species, i would say adding damage for like a wookie but ones strength can be toned down and controlled. a species that is known to naturally use the force maybe can have increased amount of points for there force powers. maybe an effect like certain force powers can be given to people using a certain species, i know of a few who can see in the infared, so they can see people almost like force sense.
I was really hoping that something like this could be implemented it would be a nice addition in my opinion.

By the way, water breathing is impossible, because its in regards to the map, where the water brush has a damage effect on it (like falling, lava, etc). So its built into the map, not the mod.

Couldn't you just turn it off and people can RP not being able to breath, except our aquatic friends.

^^ But yeah, it's kind of nasty when you can't move underwater b/c you kicked or something, and you just die. Especially for Arik, who can, by nature, hold his breath for over 3 hours.

According to the WP article, it was only used for gas atmospheres, such as when a toxin was introduced into the air they would just alter their body's instinct to shut down due to lack of oxygen. It specifically mentions not being able to use the ability underwater.
So basically Breath Control is for stinky farts, and not swimming pools.

Is it possible to code this to each client, and then have an admin dish out such variables to relevant players. Eg: I could go into Syrena's account and enable her immunity to drowning? This would be a really good feature for the next release.
