Plugin for RP Mod
I was browsering the JK3Files and found this interesting Mod.. Even there are some similarities with our NPC feat, seems this one have something more to add.
So here comes the link so you can read the review or check for yourself. I haven't yet actually. But isn't quite a suggestion, more of a discussion that can lead to a suggestion

This may have some files for those experts of the subject.

I like the password protected door feature but if the password gets out it would be a problem. But I found something in the new TFU mod that's pretty cool. You can combine force powers and such.

I think this would be a cool addition.

Nice found Atrux.. I think we can see what is cool of this mod and try to re-do on RP Mod... afterall the idea of implement was totally from TFU not from the mod creator.
Anyway.. I liked a GFX effects that I think can be easily add. When the char pushes all npcs.. a smoke/dust/cloud come up. That is nice because the Force Push blows the air strongely, and we can't say that everywhere is very cleaned from dust ^^. Also I saw that effect applied on Lightning level 2 of OJP-E 1.2... Burst a smoke/dust/cloud effect everywhere it hits I just would look much to see it applied on Push/Pull/Storm on RP Mod.. I don't think it is very hard to be done. Anyway I can be wrong.

About the Bash effect.. I have a coder friend who knows about that.. About this code I am discussing with him.. see what possible can be done.. The effect would be bash any solid thing against solid entity, such as wall, and cause a damage (if a npc). A npc against another would cause dmg for both and knock them down. This feature was retrieve from Enemy Territory source, that is all I know for now.
But what I am really interested on TFU mod is the smoke effect for everything that is pushed.. like also when you push something you blow the dust from the floor and the dust of the target. Realistic feat with a realistic explanation.
Combined the Bash feature and smoke effect would be neat. Let´s see what our Master Soh Raun can do.
But lets get back to the review of Stalax and its usefulness

Sometimes things don't have dust on them. I know that my character doesn't.Aknaross Myotis wrote:But what I am really interested on TFU mod is the smoke effect for everything that is pushed.. like also when you push something you blow the dust from the floor and the dust of the target. Anyway.. the smoke/not dust/clouds effect seems a nice feat to add. We just make an observation for the clean Master Tekeil.. But please, back to the topic I know that TFU mod seems more interesting. If indeed it is someone start a new thread about its features, and suggestions about it.

I'm gonna play the bad guy here.
TFU is probably in the same vicinity of ridiculousness in the SW setting as the KOTOR games were.
Why?
In the trailer you have Starkiller bringing down a Star Destroyer ship with TK, very few characters in the SW setting have accomplished similar or greater feats, and only when achieving or coming close to a oneness with the Force, often before death.
Then you have his insanely vast use of other TK feats. And realistically, by the time he's all finished up and settled down, he'd be dried up and withered, and probably dead by thirty. Excessive use of the Force wears on a person's body.
As for the realism?
The only time I've seen dust fly off of people was watching martial arts movies, such as Jet Li films. The various shockwaves and whatnot from TFU are more intended to be game mechanic visualizations, as was many things in KOTOR. I would direct you to this portion of the canon article on Wookieepedia.
TFU is a game meant to dazzle and excite, just as KOTOR was supposed to be innovative and in-depth.
The bash effect was covered in this topic.
The password door feature may be useful, though I don't see its application being widespread and used in our day-to-day role playing.
Our current NPC dialogue feature is more advanced and I would say better, than the concept of floating text dialogue.
