I was thinking, well lugormods have credits and stuff then why not use xp as credits in Jedi, for example::
10 Expirience: a title
20 Expirience: your own robot
30 Expirience: your own room
40 expirience: your own swoop bike
50 expirience: your own space ship!
60 expirience: become a class teacher
70 expirience: become a high council member

Wow. Well, you get an "A" for effort, honestly.
...but I can't imagine JEDI ever instituting a change to RPMod like this for so many reasons.

This brings back memories as it's is similar to "The Shopping Channel" I created in a previous clan but credits were obviously not linked to XP because we were using good ol' JA+.
Credits were rewarded by Masters or Successfull Missions (Because the clan's foundation was "Jedi for hire"). Members could then be used to purchase one of the RP items from the Shopping Channel. This was updated frequently and had things like "Shyriiwook Translator" and "Archives Access Card level 3" and for those that saved up "Green/Blue/Orange/etc Lightsaber Crystal".
Purchase requests were given privately or posted on an "Order List".
A site admin then entered the Purchased item into the Member's Locker which was in an "Inventory Thread" so others could see what items they had bought.
It worked well and it was fun to moderate and the glory of it was it was Forum based and didn't require and In-Game Mod. On top of that, all purchases were RP'd and the only game-altering thing you could purchase was a Lightsaber colour.
Of course I'm unsure if the idea of Credits goes down well in JEDI due to it's Old Republic-esque teachings about possessions/greed etc.
It's funny though... Because a lot of JEDI Members, past and present, are beneficiaries of some huge family estate!

Re: Rewarding Expirience
You might want to change 'robot' into 'droid', which is the official SW term for a machine or mechanical being, often found to posses an incorporated artificial intelligence. Examples of well-known droids include the astromech (ex. R2D2) and the protocol droid (ex. C-3PO). Other types of droids include assassin droids, battle droids, medical droids, scout droids, bar droids and training droids.
Re: Rewarding Expirience
You get a title as soon as you join JEDI, along with a room you must share with your peers. A personal droid would be unnecessary unless your character is disabled or something, to which we have droids on Temple grounds to assist you. A swoop bike and a space ship can be rped, and we already have a supplement amount of teachers and mentors. And the Council elects their council members, you don't just get it from collecting a certain amount of points.Xenon wrote:I was thinking, well lugormods have credits and stuff then why not use xp as credits in Jedi, for example::
