Datapad Suggestion
Wordpad.exe
That's my Datapad.
In all seriousness, though. Why spend lots of time coding something such as a Datapad into the game when you can make a Datapad animation and play the game in Windowed mode, open up Notepad/Word/Wordpad/Open office/whatever and type in notes that way? I would think that the immersion aspect would be the same for the most part.

Yes that is very true, I once was running several mods and my base folder was very cluttered and i had some problems with loading stuff even.Agitt Tanwa wrote:As a side note - its just from my experience with it, but I think putting too much in the actual 'base' folder is a very bad idea, especialy if you have multiple mods installed.Tomoran wrote:I have hundreds of gigs free space, but the amount of micro-downloads for JEDI is crazy without some kind of patcher system. I'm -almost- tired of constantly opening up my base folder, I should really just get a shortcut.
I think the datapad idea sounds very nice, if we could even go one step further and make the datapads directly connected with our comport journals, that would be simply awesome, however I have no idea if its even close to possible.

This. Not that I actually have used anything for datapad notes, as screenshots are my way of doing such things. Though I remember suggesting using an Xfire way once in the past. Make a new chat room, make it private, bring it up and type what you want to and enable chat logging. Sorted really.Mihkal wrote:Wordpad.exe

"Is all that sales-babble in your brochure? Because I think I'm going to puke. Perhaps you'd like me to leverage your synergy with my vibroblade."
