Re: Advanced Healing techniques
Daegon,
I take it you're referring to self-healing techniques? The ability to heal others tends to be a rather limited one. I'd be happy to discuss these with you, of course.

Re: Advanced Healing techniques
Dae,
I'll assess you for it, but I can tell you, very few Jedi have that capability. It's part of the reason that the Medicorps and the Circle of Healers are the smallest of the various Service Corps and integrated branches of the Order - whereas most of our skills are based on projection of energy we can draw from outside of ourselves, Force Healing skills use your own internal energy, which effectively means your personal life force. As I said, most can't do this.
That said, there are ways you can use your normal skills to be of use in medical situations in the field: placing someone into a healing trance, so they'll heal over time, or using your skills to pinch off a blood vessel, stun the nerves so as to reduce the pain of an injury, or even to render a patient unconscious. These are all things we can teach without you needing to have actual healing ability.
I'll catch up with you at some point soon, and we'll go through a few things.
