What is a Jedi's role in the galaxy? What exactly does a Jedi do?

• Availability:

When it is best available for the most amount of students. ((All days of the week except Wednesdays, and I also work one weekend out of two, I'm not working today and tomorrow, but I'll be working the 17th and 18th, but then not the 24th and 25th.))

• Reason For Request:

Often learnt first, and as most important to learn as a Hopeful, I do not believe we learn officially more deeply the answer to the question, What does a Jedi do? The simple answer as children and hatchlings is 'Do good'. To me it is 'Serve the Force'. We learn by doing what we each believe the answer is as we grow. But I feel we all would benefit from learning more concretely what our tasks are, what roles are offered to us, how we are meant to help. This lesson could be especially good for the initiates.

• Additional Information:

I would like the lesson to be both public and held in the Temple. Perhaps the Diplomacy Classroom, I do not believe it's been used yet.
