Emote Index Added to the Holonet

Hey all,

I had an idea I wanted to float that might be useful for RP, especially for newer or returning players.

One thing I’ve noticed getting back into JEDI is how easy it is to get bogged down trying to remember emotes- what each one actually looks like, and how they differ from similar ones (looking at you, emsit–emsit12). A lot of emotes are also more flexible than their names suggest. For example, I’ve seen embalance work really well for something like a young initiate pressing their hands against a window.

The idea would be to add a simple emote index to the Holonet under the RP mod tab. Basically: each emote listed with a screenshot showing what it actually looks like in use. Ideally, it could include a few different models as well, since some emotes look noticeably different depending on species or body type. As someone who RPs a Twi’lek, that difference comes up a lot.

The goal wouldn’t be anything fancy- just a quick reference people could check so they can pick the right emote without cycling through several options mid-scene, or skipping emotes altogether because it breaks the flow.

I’d be happy to help put something like this together and grab screenshots if it’s something the community would actually want. Before I dive in, though, I wanted to ask:

• Does something like this already exist?

• Is there a reason this wouldn’t be practical or workable?

• Are there ideas that would make this more useful?

• Or is this a niche thing that’s probably best as a personal reference?
