New Character Classes
Greetings JEDI Members and Community.
As of this evening, we will be running a live test of the new Class system designed by Tomoran Serevarno, on both the Temple and Galaxy servers. This trial period will last until the end of November in which time we wish to gather community feedback on all aspects of the changes made, positive or negative.
The number of classes available varies according to the rank, and allow for further specialization starting from the Knight rank:
Detailed information about the new classes is available right from the RPMod Web Interface: class list break down.
Migration to the new classes will be conducted as follows:

Migration to the new classes will be conducted as follows:
- Initiates will be moved to the Apprentice class.
- Padawans will keep their current class (Guardian/Sentinel/Consular).
- Knights and Masters will have the opportunity to choose a specialized class or the generic Knight/Master classes. To do so, please submit a request to the Council via the Comport.
In addition, all Knight XP will be rewarded back to comply with the new changes. We strongly suggest that care is taken when reapplying XP to your chosen skills. This is not a time to change your template but simply adjust it according to the new alterations. So if you held Sense five but with the new changes and class choice, are now limited to Sense four, we still expect you to reapply your XP into Sense four.
- Backup of all accounts before the migration, to make comparisons to your previous template easier.
- Migration analysis tool, that highlights the powers you would lose if you don't change your class.
- Class list break down, as linked earlier in this post.
- Tomoran's reference thread, with detailed technical info as well as a classes guide.
